@Benjaminhuxley It’s all phenomenal! The trilogy of reunion albums are a great place to start but their older work with Terminal Spirit Disease and With Fear I Kiss the Burning Darkness are unmatched, too. Seconded to The Red in the Sky is Ours and Gardens of Grief.

i always avoid phrases like “outdated controls.” it just controls differently. every game controls differently. you just need to learn them. learning is joyful and rewarding. so yeah im snobbish about it. great games are timeless no matter the form.

We desperately need videogame fans to start becoming art snobs. It's crazy how videogames are the only artform where older works are treated like they're archaic and unplayable. Including journalists, critics and game developers. Get pretentious! Get annoying! Treat it like art!
