@Tequilla_UW @godawgs4 I’ve replied to you many times. Appreciate your insight. I’m the farthest thing from a Quook.

@Benners76 @godawgs4 It’s an inside joke between him and I
You should probably sit this one out Quook

Anybody placing Demond at the top of the B10 pecking order of QBs or saying that he’s elite doesn’t know football
Demond has skills that could make him elite but there’s still a lot of “prove it” to get there

@BartGonnissen someone said the sprinklers are on b/c they’re powered by the same mechanism that’s responsible for the anchor and that the anchor is at the ready just in case… True?

@BartGonnissen What’s that out the window… just 200M x 25M and 35,000 tons! 😳 Watch for the jet skis. 🤣

@allyduck79 If this was five years ago, it would be amazing. But now it’s like will he ever take a snap? =/
English

@BartGonnissen @ole_sanne Lack of empathy never surprises on this app. =\
Can’t imagine being in that position with no say in the matter and just having to get through it. Very well-written, well thought out piece. Thanks for sharing.
English

@ole_sanne Oh and the Russians... could be solved by not invading other countries...

@johncanzanobft @GrantsGetaways He was the best. That voice and all those stories. He’s looking down over all of the PNW.
English

Saddened to hear of the passing of Grant McOmie.
@GrantsGetaways and five legendary decades in Portland TV at KATU and KGW. He was 73.
I went fishing with Grant once. He told stories the whole time. We caught a steelhead. Best fishing expedition ever.

Hamilton asking for more feedback on where he’s losing time:
📻 | Lewis Hamilton: “I need more feedback of where that four tenths is.”
📻 | Santi: “Two tenths in the first sector, power limited.”
📻 | Lewis Hamilton: “I understand it’s two tenths but where is that power limit?”
📻 | Santi: “Power limit is between 2 and 3. Same Second sector. Same Third sector.”
📻 | Lewis Hamilton: “2 and 3 is not helping. Is it apex speed? is it exit?”
📻 | Santi: “It’s power limit.”
📻 | Lewis Hamilton: “That does not help me, mate. Is it the exit or is it the apex? I don’t care about power limit.”
📻 | Santi: “It’s the apex.”
📻 | Lewis Hamilton: “Okay. Is apex too high or too low? Give me some feedback…”

@BartGonnissen @CarlyleSmith Here’s the communication… “Careful… Careful… We almost got it. Careful… Easy. Easy. We’re clear. Good job!” I’ve been following Bart for a while now so I know how it works. 😄😆🤣😆😄
English

@CarlyleSmith Pretty common and they don't have much choice. It's either this or hitting each other.
English

@Habubrats71 Just preordered. Cannot wait. 😄 Does it include details about the first SR-71 flight over North Korea and a supersonic overflight of the North Pole?
English

This true event is written by my father, Colonel Richard “Butch” Sheffield, in his upcoming book. “Ohio to Supersonic”
This was when Dad was Chief of Space at the Pentagon in the late 1970’s. This might have been where they got the plot for the movie “Space Cowboy “.
The Russians had orbited a lab that had a nuclear power plant. They had lost control of the lab and the lab was going to re-enter the Earth’s atmosphere somewhere.
There was a chance that the radioactive materials could come down over the US, so the Carter Administration was worried.
One day, Mr. Gus Weiss came to see me. He was a former aide to Nixon and had worked for the CIA. He was on the National Security Council. He had been appointed by the Administration to monitor the lab and to predict where it would return to earth.
He said that while NASA was good at launching things into space, they didn’t know much about predicting where things would come back to earth because they had little to no experience doing that. He asked for my help.
I had working for me the only two people in Washington who knew how to predict a re-entry of space objects, Lynn Tatum and Dennis Eagan. I called them in my office and told them to do whatever Gus asked them to do until the space lab re-entered.
Gus and I met a couple of times a year from then on. He became a good friend and his insights into Washington policies were very enlightening. amazon.com/Ohio-Supersoni…

@BartGonnissen BART… I’m really surprised you don’t know this… Probably because you’re always focused on such large vessels… If you spin the prop fast enough, it doesn’t even need to be in the water! 😆🤣😂🤣😆

@DubsUW @raisingcanes I’m a Duck and I can say it… That’s a goddamn beautiful animal. It cannot be denied!

@F1GuyDan @Jamreynolds1993 Also… There’s no way Ferrari does that w/o running it by HP.
English

@Jamreynolds1993 People don’t know it but this tweet is lowkey an ad for HP 😂

@44britcedes You watch the sport long enough you see there’s the racing and there’s the friendships, connection that goes beyond the track. It’s pretty cool.

🗞️ || Valtteri Bottas talks about working with Lewis Hamilton!
“I obviously tried my best to beat him and I managed to do so in many races and qualifying, but over the whole season I never did.”
“But I learned a lot from him, and it shaped, I think, the person I am today. In the end, we became friends.”
