Woodstock is getting a new Publix! We’ve partnered with Connolly, Place Maker Design, and Robertson Loia Roof on a 90,000 sq ft, 11-acre shopping center at Woodstock Pkwy & Towne Center Pkwy. Construction is underway with phased delivery through 2026. Proud of our Benning team!

During Women in Construction Week, we celebrate leaders who shaped our industry. Inspired by Emily Warren Roebling, Patricia Galloway became the first woman CEO of a major engineering and construction firm and the first woman president of ASCE, opening doors for future leaders.

During Women in Construction Week, we honor trailblazers like Elsie Eaves. In 1920, she became the first woman to earn a civil engineering degree from the University of Colorado Boulder and helped open doors for generations of women in engineering and construction.

This Women in Construction Week, we celebrate three incredible women whose dedication has helped shape Benning Construction for decades: Teresa Holder (27 yrs), Georgia Hood (26 yrs), and Lisa Williams (22 yrs). Thank you for your loyalty, leadership, and lasting impact!

Women in Construction Week: Women in History Lady Elizabeth Wilbraham is often considered the first woman architect, though her work went uncredited due to 17th-century restrictions. Today, she’s remembered as a pioneer who helped shape history.
