Chavez pleaded guilty to one felony count of incest and one misdemeanor count of furnishing alcohol to a minor. His formal sentencing is scheduled for June 23rd in Ventura County Superior Court, where prosecutors say he is expected to receive 3 years in state prison and register as a s*x offender for 20 years.

NEW: Texas officer investigating a fire on private property shoots a dog after being attacked Last Friday, Arp Police Officer Pereida responded to a large fire behind a residence. While approaching the fence line to check if the home was in danger, two dogs crawled under the fence and attempted to attack him. The officer fired two shots from his service pistol, striking one dog. The injured dog fled, and the second dog continued to approach. Bodycam footage was activated after the shots and shows part of the encounter. The dog’s owner later told the chief that “everyone around here knows my dogs will bite” and that the officer should have taken a bite instead of shooting. Road rage to the extreme! This Uber driver was trying to take his passengers to their destination when another car cuts in front of him and the driver of that car gets out of the car threatening the Uber driver. He approached the door trying to open it yelling for the Uber driver to get out of his car. The Uber driver and his passengers quickly flee by backing up and turning around but the raging man does not give up and begins to chase them through the neighborhood causing them to run red lights to get away. The female passengers quickly get on the phone with the police and help guide the officers to their location. The police were able to catch the guy as he did try to run once he saw police were involved. Based on the streets and landmarks I believe this is in the Northport (East Northport), Long Island, New York area. Good teamwork and quick thinking helped them escape what could have been a very dangerous situation.

This father took his two boys bike riding. The trail they were on said kid friendly. But as you can see, chaos erupted. As the dad was tending to his one son who had already crashed, his other son was coming down the trail. He screamed several times for him to hit his brakes but his son flew by him and kept going and wiped out. When the dad got to him, he appeared to be okay. Just to be safe, he took his boys to go get checked out. Luckily no broken bones, internal bleeding or permanent damage outside of a few cuts bruises and scrapes. The dad said he wishes he would have just reached back and grabbed him as he came down but he was busy tending to his other son. It could have been much worse. Many people are blaming the dad saying he was irresponsible and that he should have checked the trail out before they rode down it. Do you think the father is to blame? Do you think it’s just boys being boys, they’re tough and that’s life? Or, do you think the parks and recreation department is to blame for labeling the bike path as a kid’s path?
