You have to wait months to have your licence printed at Road Traffic. You have to wait months to have your passport issued at Immigration. You have to wait months to get your national ID from the NRB. You have to wait years to receive your title deed from the Lands Department…the list is endless. All of these processes could be completed in a single day in a functional country. Nothing works in this country, not even the most basic services. Now ask yourself why you elect politicians every five years who cannot fix even these simple issues. People are queuing every day at Immigration, Road Traffic, the NRB, and other government offices, yet no one seems to care. And you expect such leaders to fix the economy? Forget it. It’s every man for himself until real change happens, a revolution to create a system of political governance that actually works. Currently, there is not even a system to be fixed!

Most African leaders are fixated on power itself, not on what they can achieve with it.
