🧵 Imam Ja'far As Saddiq رحمة الله عليه accepting the narrations in praise of Amirul Mu'mineen Muawiya رضي الله عنه. Ibn Asakir narrated from the chain of al Bayhaqi: That Ja'far bin Muhammad (As Saddiq) narrated from Al Qaasim bin Muhammad bin Abi Bakr As Siddiq رحمة الله عليه said That Muawiyah bin abi Sufiyan said that the prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said: “if the imam lead prayer by sitting down, the people behind him should also start prayer sitting down”. Al Qaasim رحمة الله عليه said: ''People (Sahaba and Tabi'in) were amazed by the truthfulness of Muawiyah رضي الله عنه. Al Bayhaqi said: He is Jafar bin Muhammad As Saddiq (from ahlul bayt) who narrated from Al Qaasim bin Muhammad bin Abi bakr As Siddiq and affirmed what he (Al Qaasim) narrated the affirmation of Muawiyah’s (truthfulness) from the people. And those people were the remaining sahaba and Kibaar At Tabi'in.
