@MayUseFullLane recycling and compost we generate, as well as helping to change how we obtain the foods and products we sell to encourage suppliers to be more responsible as well.

@MayUseFullLane You're right re the Priuses and parking garage, that was just a small dig at Berkeley culture. We definitely shoulder more responsibility than our consumers though, you're absolutely right. We are working with the the city of Berkeley on how they can handle the amount of 1/2

A snarky response would be to point out that the Prius/NonPrius ratio in our parking lots is higher than just about anywhere else. A genuine response would be to point out that it industry marketing to say individual consumers fix climate change by changing their own behavior 1/n

@BerkeleyBowl Why? I cant see any evidence for this. Climate belts shift, some places get warmer, some colder, as they have done over the last millenniums, but plants dont stop growing. This is clearly bunkum? Getting really fed up with baseless rubbish about climate change ....

Here's a brief list of food that will become far more scarce as the climate deteriorates: 1. Everything 2. No really it's an ecological disaster barreling down the mountain.

@prinzrob You're certainly not the first person to talk about this, and we're working on a solution for this. Our West loaction's bike racks are more appropriate for cargo bikes, but you're right that our Central location could be better equipped.

@BerkeleyBowl Can we get some cargo bike-friendly racks installed at least? Here’s how Grocery Outlet in Richmond does it. New protected bike lanes on the way for Adeline will hopefully help more folks choose to leave the Prius at home, but increased bike parking capacity is needed.
