The boys varsity volleyball team (12-5) advanced to the ISBVL semifinals with a straight set victory over Trinity - 25-11, 25-13, 25-20. Elie Lowenstein served 16/19 with 7 aces. Jaim Magendzo was 15/15 with 2 aces.
Eidan Horn and Ayden each had 4 hitting kills. Yonathan Magendzo had 3 hitting kills. Senior Edan Friedman sustained a wrist injury in the Grace Christian match, and will likely miss the remainder of the season.
Coby Cohen was 11 of 12 with 3 aces, Yonathan Magendzo was 10 of 10, and Sammy Merzel was 8 of 9 with an ace.Eli Lowenstein had 7 serving aces. Ayden Stone was 13 of 14 with 2 aces. Jaim Magendzo was unstoppable at the net. He had 14 of 15 hits with 7 kills.
On Senior Night, the Cougars (11-5) closed out their ISBVL regular season, with a win over JDS – 25-12, 22-25, 25-17, and 25-16. The senior members of the team were outstanding tonight and throughout the season. In serving,

Zanvy Lesnoy was 5 of 6 serving with 2 aces and was a force at the net. Andrew Pinchot had a superb serving performance – 9 of 10 with an ace. Noach Lerman had 2 ace serves and passed well. Eidan Horn was a beast at the net with 3 hitting kills and 2 good blocks.
The Boys Varsity Volleyball team (10-4) defeated Don Bosco, 25-9, 25-16, and 25-14. The Cougars were led by the almost perfect setting of Niv Leibowitz. He was also, 14 of 15 serving with 2 aces. Sammy Merzel continued his good passing and was 9 of 11 serving with 4 aces.
Ayden Stone and Eli Lowenstein had 3 each. Edan Friedman and Maxx Kronisch had 2 each. Sammy Merzel passed very well in the back row. Eidan Horn , Zanvy Lesnoy, and Drew Sadikman played aggressively at the net. Shai Margulies and Noach Lerman saw time as passers and servers.

With a 3 set sweep of Trinity, the boys varsity volleyball team improved to (9-3). Set scores: 25-21, 25-10, and 25-23. The Cougars passed exceptionally well as a team. The setters – Ayden Stone, Coby Cohen, and Niv Leibowitz - were flawless.
The boys MS baseball team won their first round playoff game against Field School, 10-8. Max Herzfeld was fantastic on the base paths. Mark Lindenauer got the key hit to put us ahead. Next game is at JDS this Thursday. Go Cougars!
