How does @ACRheum plan to train the next generation of rheumatologists without a viable certification pathway for US? It allows us to become world class researchers and leaders in patient care. It’s not being appropriately valued. Without it we fall below world standards.

What speaks our truth is not how we taunt, deride or belittle the embattled, broken or battered.

The nation of The Berlin Airlift
The nation whose leader said, “Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall.”
We are at our best when we are resolute against evil -- not when we kowtow to those who perpetrate it.
We tell our truth when we defend the weak -- not when we do it only if we get protection money.
We are America when our leaders call the dictators dictators and those who fight to defend democracy against tyranny what they are: heroes.
Donald Trump and JD Vance didn't show strength today -- they showed weakness.
They belittled a giant and showed just how small they are.
They have the most vaunted titles in the world: President and Vice President of The United States of America. But the title doesn't make the man. And today both men brought shame to their titles.
A weary warrior was before them. A beleaguered man who has lost thousands of his friends and comrades to the unjust and illegal aggression of an authoritarian leader.
They showed no grace; no magnanimity of spirit; no diplomatic acumen. They were small bullies with big titles and they disrespected the history and legacy of the nation they lead.
Today, Donald Trump acted more like Russia's Putin than America's President.

It’s funny how life has a way of repeating itself. This top photo was taken on October 24, 1963 when my uncle, President Kennedy handed my mother, Eunice Kennedy Shriver the signing pen after signing the Child and Mental Health Bill into law. My mother was a staunch advocate for children’s rights and the rights of those with intellectual disabilities. She made this her mission, and she made a difference — with this bill, with @specialolympics, and with the lasting impression of service to all of her children.
Now, in the bottom photo, @potus is handing me a signing pen after signing the Executive Order on Advancing Women’s Health Research and Innovation on Monday. Finding out the answers about women’s health has been my mission. That’s why I started @womensalz and then @mosh_life. And that’s why I went to @flotus to get the answers we need! I am so excited to see what will come of this groundbreaking action — our women’s health moonshot! #movehumanityforward

This is pure heaven for me: dinner on St. Patrick’s Day with my two of my brothers, @TimShriver and @Mark_Shriver (my sister-in-law, Jeannie came after we took the photo). We went to the Irish Inn in Washington DC. We laughed, we ate, we told stories, we celebrated our heritage, our love, our family.
