Congratulations to the Boys and Girls Fencing Teams as they BOTH WON the SCIAA Tournament! Wow!

@BernardsSports Girls fencing are now in the Final-4 after upsetting 4-seed Holy Angels 14-12!!! Tiff and Emma 3 wins (one vs an undefeated B-rated fencer)! Fiona 3 wins against a very elite epee squad, including a clutch 14th win to clinch!! So so proud of these girls!!!

Bernards Girls Fencing advances to the semi-final round of the NJSIAA tournament! In a close meet Bernards defeated Holy Angels with Fiona Vitali clinching in priority to win at 14-12. Fantastic team effort!! @BernardsSports

Bernards Boys Fencing advances to Elite 8 round in NJSIAA state tournament. Bernards (11th seed) defeated 6th seed Montgomery 18-9. Amazing team effort! Sabers were 8-1 led by Spencer Depew (3-0) and Foils were 7-2 led by Oliver Po (3-0). @BernardsSports

@BernardsSports States are set for fencing! Boys (11th seed) will travel to Monty on Tuesday and Girls (5th seed) will host Ramapo Wednesday!

@BernardsSports Boys fencing takes 3rd at Districts today AND qualifies for states starting next week! Sabre are District champs while foil takes 3rd in districts! Adi, Julian, Spencer, Oliver, and Luis ALL qualify for MOCs later this month! Awesome job boys!

@BernardsSports Believe it! Girls fencing are District 5 Champs!! Foil squad wins districts, Sabre takes 2nd, and Captain Raquel and SL Fiona navigates epee to 4th in a loaded district! Stella, Emma, Bri, and Tiff all qualifies for MOCs! So proud of these girls!!!

@BernardsSports Boys fencing defeated Morris Hills 14-7 in the last regular dual meet of the regular season with a record of 12-4! Districts this Sunday at Monty determines whether they make states!

@BernardsSports Girls fencing defeated Morris Hills 14-11 to end the regular season 9-7! This really young team successfully navigated a very hard schedule (fenced 6 of top 10 teams in the state) and are now ready to show their game at Districts with states on the line!

@BernardsSports Boys fencing defeated Mendham 17-10. Sabre led by Spencer, Adi, Julian, and Matt swept 9-0. Luis, Prad, and Henry all with 2 wins each. First year fencers Nate and Lucien also with victories on foil! Boys are now 10-3 for the season! Ramapo next on Wednesday!

@BernardsSports Girls fencing stepped up big with a 17-10 victory over Mendham! Stella, Emma, and Tiff with 3 wins each while Lea and Raquel each had 2 wins. First year Claire and Sunny each with a victory! Record now 8-5 with a tough Ramapo meet away Wednesday next!

@BernardsSports Boys fencing defeated Gov Livingston led by a lights out foil and Sabre squad! Spencer, Oliver, Julian, and Adi all with 2 wins! Record now 8-2!

@BernardsSports Girls fencing showed a lot of grit with a 14-10 win over a strong Gov Livingston squad! Stella and Bri with 3 wins! Lea and Tiff solid with 2 wins. Raquel and Fiona stole 2 critical bouts against a strong epee squad to keep us ahead! Record now 6-4!

@BernardsSports Girls fencing were absolutely on fire tonight with a stunning 14-8 win over a very strong Ridge squad! Bri and Tiff (3 wins each) led an 8-1 effort on foil! Stella and Emma totaled 5 wins for saber! Incredibly proud of these girls! Record 6-3 - Santelli’s next!!
