@BernieBischoff @AlexDuncanTX The Gospel of Jesus Christ: Jesus was crucified on a cross, buried and resurrected on the third day. 1 Corinthians 15:1-4.
English

@BernieBischoff @AlexDuncanTX So Melania being a homosexual and a sinner will be forgiven if she believes?

English

@RickRichards10 @AlexDuncanTX Same as you and Adolf Hitler.
English

@heaveniscallin1 @AlexDuncanTX Now you say faith in Christ alone saves?
You just contradicted yourself.
English

@BernieBischoff @AlexDuncanTX that salvation is solely based upon a person’s faith, trust, or belief in Jesus Christ as Savior

English

@RickRichards10 @AlexDuncanTX The issue for salvation is not sin - it's the Son who died for all sins.
The message is the same to you and all other sinners, including the homosexuals.
"Place your faith in Christ."
The only sin that keeps you or anyone from salvation is unbelief in Christ's finished work.

English

@heaveniscallin1 @AlexDuncanTX One passage versus 150+ that say faith alone - written to national Israel, not individual salvation as in the Book of John (Jn. 20:31).
Easter would be a wonderful time to change your mind (repent) about all the works you trust in and place your faith in Christ alone.
English

@BernieBischoff @AlexDuncanTX In Romans 10:9, we read, “If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved” (NKJV). This verse highlights the core elements of what the Sinner’s Prayer embodies: confession, belief, and salvation.

@heaveniscallin1 @AlexDuncanTX They LOOK like sheep but INWARDLY are ravenous wolves. So that won't work.
Their fruits are the fruits of their doctrine.
Religious people can say "Jesus Christ is King/Lord" all they want and go to hell.
See Matt. 7:21-23 & John 6:40.
Believe the gospel.

@BernieBischoff @AlexDuncanTX Proof is in the 🍮 you will know them by their fruits
English

@heaveniscallin1 @AlexDuncanTX Hopefully they trusted in Christ alone and were saved.
Otherwise they are just lost religious people on the broad road that leads to destruction, like Paul before he got saved.
Did Paul pray the sinner's prayer, or did he place his faith in Christ?
English

@BernieBischoff @AlexDuncanTX Over the past several decades I've known plenty of people who have said the sinner's prayer with all their ❤️ & went on to be on fire Christians for God
Some even serving in ministry
English

@heaveniscallin1 @AlexDuncanTX His prayer was nothing like the "sinner's prayer" that people have made up.
Put the two side by side - they're not even close.
But you are blinded by the God of this age, who peddles religious works instead of the only way to salvation - the gospel.

@BernieBischoff @AlexDuncanTX Now notice that Jesus said that the tax collector was the one who was justified
and not the Pharisee. The point is there is a sinner’s prayer in the Bible, and it resulted in salvation
English

@heaveniscallin1 @AlexDuncanTX You are insisting on trusting in works (anything besides faith) for salvation.
He trusted in God alone to save him by His grace in view of the blood shed upon the mercy seat.
No one said "say this prayer about all of the things you are going to do to be saved."
That's religion.
English

@BernieBischoff @AlexDuncanTX There is a sinner’s prayer in the Bible. It’s found in Luke 18:9-14. In that section of Scripture, Jesus told a parable about two men, a Pharisee, and a tax collector
’ 13 “But the tax collector, standing some distance away, was even unwilling to lift
English

@RickRichards10 @AlexDuncanTX The penalty for sin is death - (eternal) separation from God.
You have sinned, and that penalty has to be paid.
Jesus Christ, the only-begotten Son of God, willingly died as your substitute and was raised from the dead.
He paid your ticket to heaven.
John316illustrated.org
English

@heaveniscallin1 @AlexDuncanTX Where in the Bible did anyone lead an unbeliever to salvation by praying a sinner's prayer?
Did Jesus tell Nicodemus to pray this prayer?
Did Paul and Silas tell the jailer to pray a prayer?
NO!
Plus, it's filled with works which do not save anyone.

@GuntherEagleman @DonnaDavisHNL Hopefully some of them really understood and believed the gospel.

@Albert_JMajor People roll salvation and discipleship together all of the time, unfortunately.
English

secureforever.org/philippians2
You cannot work for what you do not already possess. The Bible does not teach working for salvation. Salvation is not discipleship.

English

@AlexDuncanTX But Christ told His followers to preach the gospel to every living creature. Because parroting "Jesus Chris is Lord" on X doesn't save anyone, including yourself.
Are you ashamed of the gospel? Do you even know what it is? And how to be saved - by believing the gospel?

@AlexDuncanTX Eternal life is a gift from God, John 3:16; Rom. 6:23.
It is not a quid pro quo transaction for something you have done or given.
God is the Giver - not you.
How do you receive God's Gift?
Simply believe that Jesus died for your sins and rose again.
