Philly announcer might literally be the worst in the NBA. Andrew Wiggins scores and he makes a joke abt Davion Mitchell having passed it saying “there used to be an nba player named Mitchell Wiggins…”. Not knowing it’s Andrew’s dad… who’s passed.

I’m good with NBA expansion. Especially in the markets the NBA is going into. I think the idea that there’s not enough talent is crazy. They just need to kill incentives around tanking and incentivize slowing the game down to help prevent injuries.

The teams we think that are great at developing aren’t.. they simply have to play guys because they are too cheap to pay the tax, those guys it turns out can really play they just needed a chance

@JonesOnTheNBA Disagree on slowing game … agree on talent pool to an extent. Issue is it will be two more teams without one of 4,6 or 8(?) players at any time that lift teams … enough all-star and rotation types … but elite? Not sure if that # has really changed in 40 yrs.

for every 2 way success story we see there are 5 more who should have never under any circumstances ever touched an NBA floor & that is the issue. Put, TJ Warren, Mike James (Sh*t pick one), Kendrick Nunn, Cody Martin, Alec Burks, Trey Lyles & Jared Butler on any of these teams

This is why expansion is a freaking terrible idea. 8 teams won't reach 25 wins and even some good teams have G- league talent in their rotation. League should do the opposite and drop down to 24 teams like the 80's. Deeper rosters, competitive hoop = better product.

the thought there there isnt enough talent in the world to full out 30 more spots in the NBA is the stupidest thing ever. The issue we are having is, the talent we are using especially for the teams that are trying to lose, is way too young and inexperienced.

Externally everyone trades the human aspect for this for the $ but every now and then you see someone like this show you that despite all of that… he’s human and the abrupt change to what has been normal for 14 years is hard. The gift is the realization of “I do love this..”
