55 years ago today ON THIS DAY in hockey history (June 2, 1971): The @NHLFlyers hire Fred "The Fog" Shero as their new Head Coach (replacing Vic Stasiuk)

In hindsight, one of the most special moments from last year's @FlyersAlumni charity classic was @bernieparent and Andre Lacroix getting together one more time.

When you support Flyers Alumni events such as the Charity Classic Walk/Run/Ride -- in person, virtually or by donation -- 100 percent of the proceeds go to support our programs such as Every Child Deserves a Bike. Here's a great example of why we do what we do. Ana Condon has made incredible progress in her independent mobility ever since she received her customized adaptive bicycle from the Flyers.
