I’m coming out of the closet. The repack closet. I’ve been making repacks and breaking them on TikTok for the last year and a half. I know Twitter community hates repackers so I’ve been operating in silence (I know some of yall found me on there already💀) I’ve made some great friends thru TikTok and have been enjoying this fun roller coaster journey we’re on. Figured it was time to share this with my Twitter homies. We’ll be going live on TikTok’s main stage at The National today 4-6 PM CST and giving away some cards as well. GM hobby twitter. It’s been said a lot of times on every platform but it’s worth repeating. The world cup has shown that the narrative being spun on the news and social media is all bullshit. People from around the world are way nicer in person than our “leaders” would like you to believe. It’s almost like the rich and powerful are specifically pitting us all against each other to keep us in line so we don’t realize there are billions of us vs hundreds of them. Keep that in mind the next time you see a blitz coverage painting a negative light or a major issue is created out of thin air. It’s to distract you. Be the good in the world.

Random announcement. I’ll be starting a live show on Tiktok. Singles auctions like Whatnot but not on Whatnot in August. And by me I mean Im partnering with a friend who will be the on air talent. O one wants to see me. Why Tiktok? Short answer I don’t like Whatnot and the sentiment behind it. Ebay live hasn’t approved me (yet). Longer answer more diverse audience. Watched hobby friends crush it there like @BerryNiceCards and some others not on here. No repacks or breaks to start. Just singles. Nothing very expensive for the first 3-6 months. Takes time to build an audience, and trust. Have a treasure trove of 90s raw goats already (jordan/kobe heavy) sandbagged already. Probably some 90s themed nights in the future.

Its not really a gamble at all. Buy a rare grail like this for say 60k as a “group” which a lot are. One of you runs it. The three of you bid it up to your price. Say 80k. You pay alt 2% after you win it. So for 1600 you have a 80k comp. You sell it for 78k as a “deal” and make 16.4k. Or if you’re lucky, some unsuspecting collector buys it at your inflated price. This is a business model for a lot of high end guys in the hobby who look like their crushing it. Generally only works on cards like this or other rarities or when you corner a segment like mangas early. They didnt drop suddenly, they dropped when that group sold their 5-8 copies at way over their value.

These were my one and only big Pokemon purchases. Sold the Japanese one a few months ago for a nice profit. Held onto the French one waiting for a new comp and one finally popped up. Pokemon truly is on fire 👀
