Had a great time this week at GDC meeting old friends, making new ones, attending some great talks, speaking with many passionate students, and playing some awesome indie games (special shout-out to Jigrift @WhitethornGames). Feeling exhausted but renewed. I love making games 🙂

@timsoret Diplomacy is very much possible, if we participate in good faith. The West had a deal with Iran already. Trump tore it up. And then restarted negotiations in what was already a settled issue, just to use that diplomacy as a cover to bomb the negotiators. Tim, come on man.

Morally, on the international scene, the left is stuck in the local optima, accepting the growth of authoritarian powers. They reject any attempt to escape this hole to reach the global optimum, a world without authoritarians, the only one where diplomacy is possible.
