These united states are no longer operating as a republic. They are not united, not one nation, not under god, not indivisible, and don’t provide liberty and justice for all. I’m supposed to pledge allegiance to a flag that stands for this disaster? #FLexit #NHExit #Texit

I still can't wrap my head around how the term "racist" is now used to describe: >Not wanting open borders >Being able to understand statistics >Wanting to stop crime >Believing fraud is bad >Supporting voter ID Am I missing anything else?

Odds of either a deliberately-provoked or false-flag naval incident are currently escalating. Remember 2 things: Most major American overseas wars have been precipitated by questionable naval incidents, & the Office of Naval Intelligence is America’s oldest intelligence agency.

Elon Musk
Elon Musk@elonmusk·
South Africa won’t allow Starlink to be licensed, even though I was BORN THERE, simply because I am not Black! We were offered many times the opportunity to bribe our way to a license by pretending that a Black guy runs Starlink SA, but I have refused to do so on principle. Racism should not be rewarded no matter to which race it is applied. Shame on the racist politicians in South Africa. They should be shown no respect whatsoever anywhere in the world and shunned for being unashamedly RACISTS!
DogeDesigner@cb_doge

Why Elon Musk is RIGHT to fight South Africa’s racist rules blocking Starlink? Imagine this: Long ago, South Africa had very unfair laws called apartheid. They treated Black people badly and kept them from good jobs and money. When those bad laws ended, the country made new rules (called B-BBEE) to help Black people get a fair share of business. The idea was good – like a big helping hand. But now? For companies like Starlink to sell fast internet, they MUST give away 30% of their business to Black partners. Just because of skin color. Elon Musk was born in South Africa. He left as a teen to chase big dreams. Today, his company SpaceX wants to bring Starlink – super fast satellite internet – to South Africa. But the rules say no unless they give up part of the company. Elon said it right: “Starlink is not allowed because I’m not Black.” SpaceX promised to spend about $30 million (that’s 500 million rand!) to give FREE high-speed internet to 5,000 rural schools. That helps over 2.4 MILLION kids every year learn better, get jobs later, and have a brighter future. Real help for the people who need it most! Starlink already works in about 24 other African countries. Villages there now have internet for school, doctors, and business. South Africa’s villages are missing out because of these racist rules. Elon isn’t asking for special favors. He just wants fair play so Starlink can connect everyone fast. Internet = education, jobs, hope. Why hold back millions of kids over rules that pick by race and color?

@EricLDaugh Apparently Iran told JD Vance to fuck off, so he had a hissy fit and stomped out. America needed someone who could accept the situation and negotiate, not a Trump sycophant party line yes-man.

I was thirty-something years old when Iranian students dragged me into a room and told me I wasn't going anywhere. Four hundred and forty-four days later, I walked out. I've spent the decades since trying to make sense of what happened — and what keeps happening — between our two countries. So don't talk to me about Iran like it's an abstraction. I lived inside that confrontation. I felt it. Which is why I'm not ready to write off this ceasefire, even though everything about it is maddening. Negotiations in Pakistan may produce nothing. The talks could collapse before they get started. I've seen American diplomacy with Iran fail more times than I can count, and usually for the same reasons — too much pride, too little patience, and Israel holding a match in the corner of the room. But here's what I know in my bones: another war won't break Iran. We just tried. It didn't work. Iran doesn't break — it absorbs, it adapts, and it waits. I watched that stubbornness up close for 444 days. What bothers me most isn't that Iran is winning this moment — it's that we handed it to them. Tehran's framework is running these negotiations. Iran still controls the Strait of Hormuz. Still collecting tolls. Trump looked at their proposal and called it workable. I never thought I'd see the day, but here we are. Iran wants everything on the table — sanctions, enrichment rights, American troops out, and a deal that covers what's happening in Lebanon and Gaza too. That's a lot to swallow. And Israel, which wasn't invited to this conversation, is already making clear it has no intention of being constrained by it. That's the part that worries me the most. Because if Israel keeps bombing and Washington can't or won't stop it, none of this holds. And yet — and I say this as someone who has every reason to distrust Tehran — I don't think we go back to all-out war. Not because anyone has suddenly gotten wise, but because the math doesn't work. A second round ends the same way. Iran still controls the Strait. The global economy still flinches when Tehran flexes. What we're heading toward isn't peace. It's something smaller and more precarious — two countries silently agreeing not to destroy each other today, with no paperwork and no guarantees. I know what it's like to survive on something that fragile. For 444 days, that's all I had.

@BessetteKeith @MonwabisiKete @elonmusk He employs a lot of people, that's true, but he also earn from this. That's no philanthropy. It's business. If those people don't perform or he doesn't earn from their work, he fires them and that's how businesses works. If you don't get the difference you sure have some problem

Unfortunately for the "nuclear threat" argument Iran was NOT any threat to the US, had no active nuclear weapons program and had not for decades, and everyone in the US intelligence community knows this. Trump (and Hegseth) either lied or foolishly believed Netanyahu rather than Trump's cabinet and US intelligence, and ignored reality. But now the former Ayatollah is dead. He was the top person stopping the hardliners in Iran from developing nuclear weapons. His more radical son who dislikes the US for everything his dad did, who will now be more open to nuclear weapons development and has less strong religious credentials and beliefs stopping him, is now at the top of the Iran government. His father, mother, sister, and wife were just bombed to death. So he didn't like the US or Israel before and now they killed his family too. And a lot of innocent Iranian civilians are dead, who have nothing to do with this any more than the folks still reading my rant do. What should we expect to happen with that newly created situation? I wonder what Trump would think today if Iran murdered Melania, Trump Jr., Ivanka, Eric, Tiffany, and Barron. And for extra credit killed Jared, Ivana, and Marla with bombs dropped on DC. Then imagine if Trump was top leader of both the government and the national church and could order just about anything and veto just about anything if he wanted to. That's the situation Trump and Netanyahu created in Iran. There was no regime change, just some name changes. The same regime is in power. Stupid. Trump is ludicrously ignorant on the Middle East situation and Iran, and has now created a situation that could easily lead to Iran and perhaps other Middle Eastern nations developing nukes. Expect it now, whereas it would not have happened if Trump was minding his own business and concerned with America first. Trump's legacy will go down in history of starting a foolish and stupid war of choice with no US benefit, which resulted in exposing the lie that the US military bases in the Persian Gulf nations can protect them against anything, that the US Navy rules everywhere all the time, and that Iran is a pushover. Not everyone recognizes this yet, but I expect most or all of you will eventually see what is happening or later will understand what was done.

Starlink is the second largest ISP in Nigeria. It is active in Kenya, Rwanda, Mozambique, Malawi, Zambia, Zimbabwe, and Sierra Leone. However, in racist South Africa, Starlink is not allowed to operate - because Elon Musk is not black. Apartheid didn't end - it switched colors.

Someone from Flock needs to explain why Flock’s VP Bob Carter and manger Randy Gluck were spying on children in a gymnastic room, pool, fitness center and the preschool daycare on MULTIPLE OCCASIONS. That's a violation of your own policies. Care to comment @glangley?

@NH_Ancap Windmills marginally work in the Tradewinds, sort of. Utility scale solar panels work in my area of South Florida, sort of, but the nearby nuclear plant is cheaper and more reliable. It isn't hard to figure out that NH has less sun than Florida and is not in the trade wind belt.

@EricBrakey @TuckerCarlson Tim Young asks "Can someone explain this to me?" Sure. Some people are curious if Tucker Carlson would have a higher rating as President today than Trump has. I'd say "Yes" for several reasons, including that Tucker is intelligent enough to have not started a war with Iran.
