Prince William wanted to wear his Blues and Royals uniform during the wedding ceremony but went along with his grandmother's wishes for him to wear his red Irish Guards uniform. I think the red was a much better decision, at least for the photos. He did change for photos and when driving his father’s Aston down the mall.
