Evening all, In the very near future we’ll be closing down BetRef. Unfortunately the site demands more time than I can dedicate to it. Thanks for your support since we launched.

@RKO682 They’re irrelevant really - the site makes on average about 30 quid a month I’d guess

@RKO682 The site doesn’t make money mate so it’s a struggle to get anyone in to help on a long term basis. We run at a loss 9 months in 10

@BetRef No chance anyone can take over the site from you or can help you running the site?

@Onthelevel18 Costs are reasonably minimal even though the website runs at a loss 9 months out of 10, the issue is putting the time into it that it requires to keep improving

@BetRef Maybe there is a solution to keep this running, can you inbox me costs please of up keep. I am sure i could ask around for investment and up keep of the site

@maccamac40 Hi mate - not as such, I’ve just not@got the time to dedicate to it to keep the website improving, there’s also an increasing pressure from bookmakers to send referrals - which we struggle with as we won’t promote them aggressively
