@Tesco, a disabled friend sent me this pic. She can no longer reach the veg and was told this is being rolled out across all stores and to ask for help with her shopping. This is a huge blow for accessibility and for the independence of disabled people. Pls rethink this decision!

1 in 4 women believe that a smear test detects ovarian cancer. But there is currently no screening tool for ovarian cancer - we're dedicated to changing that. Toyah on @itvcorrie had a CA125 test and CT scan along side biopsies to diagnose her with ovarian cancer.

My mum was repeatedly misdiagnosed with IBS and by the time she was correctly diagnosed the disease was stage 4 and terminal. So important to query this.

This is huge and very welcome news! I was denied genetic testing despite my mum testing positive, because two people on the same side of your family had to have died before being eligible.

The guidance suggests several changes to current practice, which includes: - Changing the testing requirements. Having only one relative with ovarian cancer will now make you eligible for testing.

@OvarianCancerUK Same as my mum, she was misdiagnosed as having IBS for a good 12 months. When she eventually got a proper diagnosis, she had 12 litres of fluid in her tummy and was stage 4.
