@ianclarkeAU @AmeliaBee7 Everybody: Ian wants us to know he has a first class degree in engineering. Congrats to him. Does that explain his ignorance on every other subject under the sun?

@ianclarkeAU @AmeliaBee7 I guess we take it from this post that Clarkie is a bible basher, yes? And yet he has the gall to accuse others of being naive, uneducated luvvies. 🤣

@RocCityBuilt The mighty USA is unable to afford to look after the health or childcare of its own people, apparently; it can only afford to buy weapons to attack small overseas countries. The Pres says so…

Not surprised by this. This is tough to handle. It will likely require a lot of intelligence work, drones, special forces on the ground and thousands of sorties over months to really degrade them. And again, the fastest way may be to take the regime down. Take out their leadership and their power and communication networks. Send in armed separatist forces and arm the Iranian opposition.
Gregory Brew@gbrew24

US intel assesses Iran still has 50% of missile launchers (though many are currently inaccessible), "a large number" of missiles, including naval cruise missiles, and many thousands of drones. It is the US hope that these capabilities will be degraded in two weeks. That could be tough. cnn.com/2026/04/02/pol…

@RocCityBuilt I think it would be putting it diplomatically to say that Dan hasn’t the faintest idea what he’s talking about. But on he blunders with his chattering….

Truth matters. Pres Trump says ‘Never in the history of warfare has an enemy suffered such clear and devastating large-scale losses in a matter of weeks’. How about Iraq in 2003, Israel’s Arab enemies in 1967, and France in 1940? The difference is, Iran is still resisting — and still persecuting its own citizens.

@RocCityBuilt @JohnSimpsonNews Absurd jingoistic nonsense from Dan the Man. The USA only ever attacks weak or impoverished countries much smaller than the USA, and people like Dan feel proud of the turkey-shoot results. Pathetic.

Absurd take. If the U.S. sent in 500,000 troops and its full resources we could topple the regime a lot faster. We are only using 50,000 or 60,000 troops and a small fraction of our air and naval resources. We still have most of our resources scattered around the world defending hapless countries like the UK and Taiwan. Also, if we went in with a ground invasion there would be lots of casualties. We are doing this on the cheap in terms of both blood and resources. So far it is going quite well. That means it takes longer, which isn’t a problem. We will see where it ends up.

@BethamMichael @Peter_Fitz Can we assume you mean the Light vehicle specs on that link, right at the bottom, and not the one for the ship?

Really? My tired EV battery can become home solar battery? Is that a thing? Fabulous, if so!
Paul Smallwood@SoutherlyBusker

@Peter_Fitz At the end of life for car transport, the EV battery can be repurposed, e.g. as a home battery. Once the media stops messaging for Fossil Fuel (e.g. inviting the likes of @BjornLomborg and @jordanbpeterson onto panels), people will be angry about being lied to.

@BethamMichael @Peter_Fitz LOL, no, can you hunt down a picture or one for sale, I genuinely can not find one besides the one on the link I provided, which I am pretty sure is not what you are describing.

@johnall63155852 @Peter_Fitz A home battery generally has a capacity of 5-10 kWh. An EV battery has a capacity in the range of 40-100 kWh. So it can handle kettle, washing machine and AC. For at least 25 minutes I think. But the Gospel according to John says No.

@BethamMichael @Peter_Fitz Let me hold your hand through this so the day hasn't been a complete waste, what capacity is an EV Battery?

@johnall63155852 @Peter_Fitz An EV battery can power a 1700kg car continuously for 800 km. But when used to power a kettle and washing machine, it conks out after about 20 minutes. Gotcha.

@johnall63155852 @Peter_Fitz John Allen claims that a repurposed EV battery will only provide 20 minutes of power (no qualification offered), and then expects to be taken seriously. Childish.
