Article 48 of the Constitution of Romania states: "The family is founded on the freely consented marriage between SPOUSES, on their equality, and on the right and duty of parents to ensure the upbringing, education, and instruction of their children."
Where does it mention the sex of the spouses, pal? It doesn't. You either lied intentionally or forgot that the 2018 referendum was meant to amend the Constitution so that it would explicitly state that marriage is between a man and a woman. The referendum wasn’t validated because turnout was below 30%, which is what gave us this memorable clip of one of the organizers crying at the press conference

🌹🏳️🌈 President of the Social Democrat Party, Sorin Grindeanu wants to legalize gay marriages done abroad once he becomes prime-minister! As of now, if a homosexual couple gets married in a different country and then comes back to Romania, the marriage cannot be recognised. However, Grindeanu and his new colleagues who allegedly "switched from progressism to conservatism" now want to legalize such legal loopholes. The Constitution of Romania clarifies that a marriage is an consented union between a man and a woman. Grindeanu's attempt to apply put the CEDO decision into practice will be highly unconstitutional.

The Club has taken the decision to make a change in the Men’s Head Coach position and Thomas Frank will leave today.
Thomas was appointed in June 2025, and we have been determined to give him the time and support needed to build for the future together.
However, results and performances have led the Board to conclude that a change at this point in the season is necessary.
Throughout his time at the Club, Thomas has conducted himself with unwavering commitment, giving everything in his efforts to move the Club forward. We would like to thank him for his contribution and wish him every success in the future.
