I’ll teach a new trick Incase you don’t have all the posts up yet. If you’re building from scratch, after you dig two holes, setup a string line, and half ass setup the posts in their holes to determine their distance apart, cut your bottom and top rail boards the same length. Set your first post plumbed in the center and support it on the three sides away from the direction your next post is, and dry concrete it in by dumping a whole dry bag into the hole around it. Add water and mix. Now support your second post plumb on the three sides away from your first post. Before concreting it, support your lower rail with spacers, level, and screw it to both posts. Do the same with the top rail by attaching blocks to your posts to support the board if working alone. Now your second post is being plumbed by the first perfectly. Dry concrete in the second the same as the first, and then remove the middle brace. Add a second bag to the first hole, adding water and mixing with a stick, confirm you’re still plumb and adjust if needed. Once you get good you can do it with minimal bracing, and you’ll never fight keeping each post plumb as you move along it. Good luck 😎

As many of you know I don't get to trade as much as I was since starting my house addition 9 months ago, so finally finding a trading bot created by someone I know and trusted in the space was awesome. As in anything still in the "fafo stage" it's had it's learning curve, but the team continue to push updates and fine tune everything almost daily. Not only adding features that I never thought of, but listening to those of us who have been here since day 1 with our ideas and requests. I honestly think this is going to be one of, if not the best ai trading/wallet managment apps out there if they keep pushing. My referal link is below if this is something that you feel would help you or anyone else who can't stare at a screen all day. As always, use a fresh wallet and give it a try. (this is not a paid shill, because who would pay me for my opinion lol) parasol.so/?ref=BIGBEN

The thing thats stuck in my head about this is how there’s no separate controller or microchip inside telling it what to do next. All this behavior… from the folding sequence, its gait, how it handles bumps & adapts to terrain apparently stems purely from the material properties, the crease patterns, and basic physics. No onboard decisions at all. We’re so used to assuming that smart movement needs a brain or a program to direct it. So it makes me curious about how much 'knowing' can actually live baked into a material & its shape alone if you design for it. Feels like the rediscovery of a paradigm — simpler, with fewer parts, yet still surprisingly capable. I wonder what other everyday materials might hide similar undeveloped patterns if we approach them with that same intent. Probably a huge step toward cheap, even disposable robotics for all sorts of use cases..

Researchers at MIT created a tiny origami-inspired robot that starts as a flat sheet and transforms itself into a working machine when activated by heat. Made from a heat-responsive polymer combined with rigid panels and small embedded magnets, it can self-fold into shape and then move across surfaces, swim, climb slight slopes, and handle uneven terrain, all without traditional onboard motors.

U.S. officials have detected unidentified drones above Fort Lesley J. McNair in Washington, D.C. over the last two weeks, where Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth live, according to three people briefed on the situation who spoke to the Washington Post. Officials have not determined where they came from, two of the people said, though the military is monitoring potential threats more closely because of the heightened alert level due to the Iran War. Multiple drones were spotted over Fort McNair on a single night in the last 10 days, the official said, prompting increased security measures and a meeting on how to respond at the White House. The drone sightings prompted officials to weigh relocating Rubio and Hegseth, two of the people briefed said. The senior administration official said the secretaries haven’t moved. Their quarters on the base were publicly reported by multiple outlets in October.

Day 175 loading. Feeling quite a bit better today so let’s tackle the shop door swap. I honestly have no idea what it’ll take to swap the two. I just know the other door “will fit”… If you’ve never swapped a door slab into an existing opening, then today’s stream will teach you a thing or two 😎 Live in 5 💚

JUST IN: President Trump just posted that the United States should consider pulling its forces from the Strait of Hormuz. Let the countries that use it be responsible, he said. No free rides. The man who authorised a $16.5 billion military campaign to secure the strait is publicly floating the idea of leaving it nineteen days later. That is not a contradiction. It is a negotiating position published to 90 million followers on Truth Social, and it is the most dangerous sentence written about global energy security since the war began. Because the market has to decide whether he means it. If he does not mean it, the post is leverage. Another pressure tool aimed at the allies who refused to send warships. Germany. France. Japan. Australia. India. Every country that declined just learned that the American president is publicly questioning whether their energy security is worth American ships and American lives. The threat of withdrawal achieves what the request for coalition never could: genuine fear that the protection is conditional. If he does mean it, the permissioned chokepoint becomes permanent. The Mosaic Doctrine’s 31 provincial commands do not need an American carrier in the Gulf to keep the strait closed. They need the carrier gone. American naval presence is the only force that theoretically could assemble the minesweeping, escort, and insurance-normalisation architecture needed to reopen commercial transit. Remove it and the sealed packets run indefinitely. While President Trump posts, the rest of the world is moving. Argentina pledged naval units to assist in Hormuz. Argentina. Not Britain, which refused. Not France, which denied airspace. Not Japan or Australia or Germany. Argentina. The coalition that the world’s most powerful military alliances declined to join is being assembled from the southern hemisphere by a country whose navy last fought a major engagement in 1982. The IRGC published satellite images of five specific Gulf facilities with identical Arabic evacuation warnings: military strikes within hours. Ras Laffan and Mesaieed in Qatar. Jubail and Samref in Saudi Arabia. Al-Hosn in the UAE. These are not vague threats. They are targeting packages published on open channels with coordinates the entire world can verify. The UAE responded by officially labelling the Iranian strikes terrorist attacks, the strongest diplomatic language Abu Dhabi has used since the war began. And China opened military talks with EU and NATO scheduled for next week. Not trade talks. Not diplomatic consultations. Military talks. Beijing is positioning itself as the security interlocutor for a Europe that refused to fight alongside America and now needs someone to talk to about what comes next. Every seat at the table that Washington left empty, China is filling. South Pars and Asaluyeh are confirmed hit. The gas field that feeds Iranian fertiliser production and the petrochemical hub that processes it are both damaged. The IRGC responds by threatening five more facilities across three Gulf states. The escalation ladder has no empty rungs left. Urea at $610 on CBOT. Corn acres falling. Soybean acres rising. The cattle herd at a 75-year low. The packaging supply chain under satellite-guided threat. The insurance market frozen. The planting window closing. And the president who started the war is publicly considering whether to stay.
