We have been informed that all First buses in #Sheffield and #Rotherham have been suspended at the moment, also Stagecoach Rotherham have suspended their services, as soon as we have any updates then we will let you know.

A great turnout at @SadaccaWicker for our workshop on the @SouthYorksMCA consultation on bus franchising. People are hungry for change. But they want improvements on the system in London: - public ownership, like on our tram. - a vote over services for workers and passengers.

...but ultimately we must build power so greater strategic control isn't hoarded at the Mayoral or council leader level. We need to give power over services to workers and passengers. We'll build pressure on the Mayor to deliver a system of TRUE public control.
