These aren’t the same. Nia Long vs Lionsgate is about enforcing a contract that was already agreed to. Mo’Nique has been calling out a system that lowballs and sidelines Black women from the start. One is a agreed deal dispute after her scenes was cut due to timing, the other is a structural issue. Both sucks but not the same.
