@jcgamache2001 @ctvottawa RNs need to have certain designations to be able to prescribe meds and even then it can only be non-complex meds like immunizations, contraception, smoking cessation, and topical wound care. Good idea though. Maybe with 1 doctor or Nurse Practitioner on staff it would work

@ctvottawa I recommend those 87 registered nurses open a clinic. So many people going to hospitals because they don't have anywhere to go. 87 nurses 4 clinics, write prescriptions. Make more money. Help more people.

To the parents of the kids drawing all over the pavement on our street — please keep an eye on them. I get that sidewalk chalk can be fun, but this went way beyond a couple little doodles. The pavement is covered, and it looks like the whole street turned into an art project. People work hard to keep the neighborhood looking nice, so it’s frustrating to see this much chalk everywhere with no one stepping in or cleaning it up afterward. Maybe it washes away, maybe it doesn’t right away — but either way, not everyone wants their street covered in drawings. A little supervision and respect for the neighborhood would go a long way. Would you be okay with this happening right in front of your house?
