Dear @eppingforestdc, could you PLEASE tell me when you plan to deliver any of your recycling bags to anywhere in EFDC, ever?! If you want us to recycle, you need to provide us with the means to do so. Unless you’ve decided that we shouldn’t recycle??!

@essexhighways @eppingforestdc @thameswater Hello - not something it would be sensible to write on social media… happy to DM, although I think complaining to the guys outside directly may have done the trick.

Oh @eppingforestdc what complete and utter halfwits have you got resurfacing pavements?! They have literally put tarmac over all the f*cking water meters. These are owned by @thameswater by the way, but how are we supposed to read our meters?! A FINE MESS AS USUAL.

Dear @thewhitecompany why have you just cancelled my order, when my items appear to be in stock?! Very, very annoying to have waited 8 business days & then have that happen.

@MetCC Hi there, there is a car at the top of my road, suspected stolen & abandoned. I posted about it on the Nextdoor app and someone responded that it is showing as stolen & that there is a ref number for it? How do I arrange for you to come out to retrieve the vehicle?

@MartinSLewis Question here: what happens if someone’s dog injures your cat? What’s the rule of thumb there?

There is one important legal difference between Dogs and Cats...
Cats are by law free spirits, dogs aren't. You're liable for your dog's behaviour if it causes damage or injury to other people or property. So always check pet insurance has 3rd-party cover (if not as a min get it standalone from @DogsTrust). You're not usually liable for a cats behaviour.
Feel free to share.

Dear @Pukkaherbs, I’ve just seen one of your adverts. My advice? Reduce your prices. That is the single best thing you could do for your brand. I know this, because I adore your 3Ginger Tea, but I’ve stopped buying it now it costs £5 for 20 bags.

@MrsLScotland @GuyDorrellEsq Got loads of bees this year! A mix of salvia, cosmos, tomato and strawberry plants plus a clover lawn (not intentional but we’re keeping it that way for the bees now) seems to be keeping them all happy. I’ve even put out a shallow water dish full of stones for hydration.

From FB 😢
Post from a Beekeeper 🐝
“Its late, and maybe in the morning I'll delete this post, but I've just got home and for now I need to write this down.
Earlier this evening I received a message from a home owner to say they had a swarm of bees in their hedge, but they were worried about them because children had been throwing water at them.
By the time my fellow beekeeper and I arrived, what had been a beautiful prime swarm was reduced to a few hundred drenched bees, huddling limply around their queen.
I've already deleted the photos of the puddles of water, the dripping wet hedge, and the many, many dead and dying bees that hadn't been able to escape the attack; sharing those pictures serves no purpose.
We gently placed the bees that had survived into a collection box, and hopefully tomorrow, when they've had chance to dry out and settle, we'll check on them and if necessary feed them; they'll be exhausted and possibly (understandably) defensive. They've been through a lot.
Please, please, help me to educate your children, your grandchildren, your neices and nephews, your neighbours, your colleagues and your friends that a swarm of bees isn't dangerous - they're amazing creatures that are just looking for a new home.
Please don't let anyone harm them.
Just call a beekeeper who will gladly rehome them.
Please help me to spread this message and hopefully save any more bees from being unnecessarily harmed” 😢
Sad and unhappy Beekeeper
