@MumofF0ur If you would have just spoken up and asked her if your son was invited and tell her you didn’t receive a flyer. She may be thinking everything is fine and planning on your son coming. Now her son may be disappointed your son isn’t there. It could just be a misunderstanding 😞

I have been meeting up at parks with this local homeschool mom group.
One mom told us all about her son's birthday party, to save the day, like a month and a half ago.
My eldest shares the same first name as him, and they get along.
Two weeks ago was the last park meet up, and while we were there she asked another mom if she received the flyer for the party, and was talking it up.
I get it, I am not socially inclined, but my children are.
She talked up this party for a while, told me my son was invited. I never told him about the party, because it seems to me that women are generally not to be trusted. The party is tomorrow, and I hope I don't have to deal with fake nice backstabbers at the next park play date.
That's my rant, sorry, thank you.

Joni Lamb Last Appearance on Daystar TV Before Her Tragic and Early Death. Joni Lamb seemed very sick in last appearance on Daystar Television about two months ago in early March. Joni Lamb would pass away two months later and cause of death in stated at this time is complications due to treatment of Breast Cancer. You can tell Joni Lamb was very sick and shouldn't have been on television. Daystar should have not let her go on the air this sick. It just makes you doubt the leadership at Daystar TV completely. Joni Lamb's face is swollen on her right side. She was having a hard time speaking clearly. She seemed to be high on some sort of medication. And her thoughts weren't coming out clearly. This is not to make fun of Joni Lamb or mock her. I am showing this film to show that when we are in sin, we are not able to see the truth clearly. Joni Lamb was in denial about how bad things had become. I don't think she realizes she is about to die. I don't think she realized how much she destroyed Daystar TV with her decision. It was a sad ending for the story of Joni Lamb. There are some indications that she did at least partial repentance before she died. Moral of the story: When you whole world in coming crashing down you should persist in your path of rebellion. Repent and find love and mercy in Jesus Christ. This would be Joni Lamb last video. This would be Joni Lamb last interview

I think my daughter's endocrinologist was a little irritated with me yesterday.
She was great, but this was our first meeting with her.
She needed to go over everything and document what's been going on with my daughter to formulate a plan.
I truly think these specialists believe my daughter is going to walk in there, completely healthy, with a complete understanding of her health issues, know what questions to ask, and understand what the doctor asks her.
But, not only does she not "walk" into the appointment, but her health literacy isn't very good at this point.
She's learning from me, but because she's still struggling physically, she doesn't yet have the frame of mind or mental capacity to put in the full effort to understand her health problems.
That's where I come in.
Some specialists have been amazing, and they seem to love knowing my daughter has a good support system and someone to advocate for her and educate her.
But some specialists seem to be a little irritated, almost as if they feel challenged by me.
I don't try to challenge anyone. At this point, I just know my daughter's health issues better than she does, and I try to answer the questions and give the information.
But I sometimes get that look that wonders why my daughter isn't the one speaking up or answering the questions. Why am I the one.
I want so badly for her to be able to take control of her own health and see these doctors without me.
But right now, I can't imagine her trying to be in a room alone with these doctors.
She doesn't really know what to ask, and she doesn't remember some of the stuff the doctor even says.
The hard part is that the doctor is so busy trying to quickly get through the appointment and on to the next patient, and so involved in trying to document everything, that they don't even really get to know us.
We're a team, and I see ALL of her doctors as part of that team.
We're supposed to work together to help her, educate her, get her on the right track to where she's taking care of herself, and advocating for herself.
I would love to explain everything, but some of these specialists don't seem to take the time to listen.

@Ravenismeee I grew up in a town of 400. Did we run around and play freely, yes. Was the time to go home when the streetlights came on, yes! But our parents knew everyone in town and if we did something wrong, they knew it by the time we got home!! It took a village! ❤️😁
