And then there are the 250 FBI agents in plain clothes inside the Capitol that day. Patel investigated. What did he find? Documentation and whistleblowers saying they were 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 — told it was for "riot control." Patel's response: 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘍𝘉𝘐 𝘥𝘰𝘦𝘴 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘥𝘰 𝘳𝘪𝘰𝘵 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘰𝘭 — 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳. They were sent untrained into a volatile situation against their will. By the prior leadership. Then the January 6th Committee was created. Not to find the truth. To bury it. Just like Russiagate — Patel told the truth, paid the price for it, and was proven right. Every single time.

She saw Trump coming before almost anyone. She understood the immigration crisis as an existential issue when the Republican establishment was still talking about "comprehensive reform." Her analysis wasn't just punditry. It was often 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘁. Genuinely thought-provoking in a way that made you sharper for having engaged with it. So what happened? She broke with Trump over immigration — feeling he didn't deliver on the promise she'd staked her credibility on. She never built a podcast or a platform of her own. She said some things that were genuinely indefensible. And the conservative media landscape moved on without her. That's a loss. Not because she was always right — she wasn't. But because 𝘄𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘃𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝘂𝘀, 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝘂𝘀. A movement that only amplifies voices it agrees with completely isn't a movement — it's an echo chamber. Coulter at her best made people think. She made people argue. She made people go look things up. Warts and all, I'd take more of that.
