@rsmithnuh im now wondering if this is the case again as the new NHS plan says all trusts to be foundation trusts by end of 2026. Tell her not to fret to see different hospitals etc has done be the world of good and shaped me to be the nurse I am today - many jobs later

@rsmithnuh I’m sensing Deja vue - when I qualified in 1990 there were no jobs locally so those of us who were single had to move away for a few months - the reason hospitals were balancing the books to become NHS Trusts.

@rsmithnuh Seems like there’s not many jobs for those of us that are employed either - wards being closed etc 😢

My son’s girlfriend has just completed her nursing degree and only 6 of the 300 who are in her position have found a full time job as no vacancies out there. Bonkers

@NWAmbulance thank you so much for your swift response on 19/12/2024 in coming to review my dad, 20 mins from 111 call to ambulance arrival. As a nurse I can’t thank you enough. He’s still in Wigan Infirmary but responding well to treatment 🤗

Spain were much better and this is a really good, perhaps great, Spanish side. But the truth is that GS never quite knew what to do with the abundance of creative talent available to him. Palmer is too good not to be given a start. Gordon is too good to be given only two minutes in the tournament. James Maddison is too good to be mainly ignored throughout GS’ tenure. I could go on. But I won’t.

I got my substantive consultant job today at @nottmhospitals this morning. I started medical school 22 years ago and it’s been a hell of a journey, and I’m minded to think of all the people that helped me, thank you so much - my success is your success. Now the hard work begins.

Any advise for a 17 year old that wants to start her paramedic training after 6th form? Any work experience, online learning etc that would prove useful?

@JaneEBall I will be 55 on 31st December so have filled in my form. I feel passionately about legacy mentorship and can envisage myself in that type of role at some point - I have a wealth of knowledge and skills to share
