@BewbsOP @VonKarl_ @NASA This is actually the aurora borealis. The photo is of earth “upside down.” That is the Strait of Gibraltar and Sahara Desert at the very bottom of the photo near the red box. The green line at the top (opposite side) is the aurora australis.

@VonKarl_ @NASA That green line is an aurora. I think its the aurora australis? Anyway, yes, the atmosphere is in fact that thin. The earth is really really really really really big. The aurora occurs only approximately 60 miles up above the surface. The diameter of the earth is about 8000 miles

The I sound is also degraded to a "shwa" sound (uh) which makes it come out as "fuh uhlly" and vocal hitch can be mentally perceived as T (because accents often drop those) or as K because Ks pronunciation has similar sound features as a glottal stop.

That's right, nothing. Air gradually dissipates, slowly replaced by "nothing" until there is none left. Space. 10/10
