Bird murmuration railing in situ.
The murmurations around here are wonderful. The birds fly to roost about 10 minutes before the sun sets.
I wanted to capture this moment with the colour finishes.

Day spent @V_and_A with my mum, exploring the metalwork section, I never get bored of it.
The Naomi Campbell exhibition had me drooling over her designer outfits.

Forging a component for a fire pit I made a few years ago.
The details were ripples in a lake. I forged a long taper with beveled edge turns

A gate designed using compass drawn geometry, laser cut panels and traditional blacksmithing including 24 fire welds.
Design inspired by geometric shapes of a yurt and is the entrance gate to our yurt at Old Pound Smithy North Devon.
It's a perfect example of Geometalism ∆
A sunset inspired fire bowl.
A mixture of fabrication and forging.
The design has three triangles that suspends the bowl off the ground and also is the geometric symbol for fire.
Looking forward to seeing the photos of it lit ∆

I really enjoy just experimenting with metal. It's a very subtle detail and will probably be overlooked but I wanted to try it out.
It came about from breaking down my clients image she sent me of her sunset.
