Do any of you relax footwear for the children in the last few weeks? As a parent of 4, I know I’d love that, as school shoe buying in June and July would be crazy!

We’re fighting a losing battle with children answering back, disrespecting each other and adults in the way they speak and generally not caring about consequences. Does anyone have a system which has really tackled this element of behaviour?

@DeputyGrocott Phone off at 8..apps locked down for timings but can compromise for particular reasons but always gets reset to limits. Huge change in behaviour if the limits aren't on so it's definitely needed. (Even if it makes us the worst parents ever sometimes!)

Those of you with children of 14+, what rules around technology do you have? Internet shutdown at a certain time? Xbox seems to take over life!

@thosethatcan I worked in the next sale once and was putting clothes back on a lower rack when a customer sat on me as if I were a chair...not even kidding! I was agency staff so stood up and walked away as she berated me for 'nudging' her.

If you’ve worked in retail, pls could you share some ‘worst customer’ stories? A woman shouted repeatedly at my 17yo today on her second day working at M&S for rolling rather than folding a jumper and made her cry. Exercises in resilience. Humour has (almost) saved the day.

@MissMJRogers Am 22 years in. It's just so hard and I will take my "nightmare" class I had in about my third year of teaching over what I have this year, who are the "easy" class in school.

Education is in crisis. Being a teacher is harder than it has ever been. Anyone else feeling it?

I just found out a married couple I know doesn’t have assigned cars. Like they have 2 cars.. but one isn’t his and hers… they just wake up every morning and grab whatever set of keys and go??? That’s the craziest thing I’ve ever heard in all my lives????
