I’ve never seen other commentators moan and sigh when one team scores or misses , UNLESS it’s a biased station. It sounds like Madrid home radio when I watch either Barca or Madrid matches.

This is a narrative touted more broadly, of course. And they may be some truth in it, but I think it often ends up putting an unfair amount of scrutiny on how Barça are assessed.
I truly don’t believe any team in the world is held to the same standards as us in terms of playing a certain way.

I don’t think the commentators are biased because they’re (often) not, but I sense a huge perceptual difference every time I hear them speak about Barça/Madrid.
It’s like Barça are *expected* to win while playing good football, and Madrid aren’t. They’re just about winning.
