On Blowhard, Coiny secretly had TV rig the elimination votes to eliminate Pen. Coiny justified the move as necessary to preserve the team’s 'competitive edge', but everyone knows that Coiny was jealous of Pen and Eraser's friendship since his own falling out with Pin back in Season 7. While some viewers are fond of the decision, it still ignited lasting controversy for disregarding viewer input on eliminations, a cornerstone promise of the series. Many fans still cite it as the moment the show jumped the shark and became a 'worse Inanimate Insanity'. Years later, I'm still curious: Do you think this a bold but fair gameplay choice, or did it betray the audience-driven spirit that defined BFDI:NQAS?
