Donato swiped at Wallstedt after a save and McCarron crushed him to the ice. Then, Middleton jabbed at Donato. Donato punched back at McCarron, and McCarron went to town on the non-pugilist. Refs are conferring on what to call here

Told Kaprizov got checked by Donato in Chicago and went into the boards funny. Wild just being careful. As I said, he skated in the full skate this morning

Wild 3-4-2 in last nine. +2 goal diff in those games. 4 of 9 vs non-playoff teams
Avs had a 3-5-2 stretch. -7 diff. 5 of 10 vs non-playoff
Stars had a 2-6-4 stretch. -11 diff. 4 of 12 vs non-playoff

@spittinchiclets As a wild fan & I dislike the Avs…not a major. 29 was going for the tip & was turning away/up ice when Nurse closed in. W/o Nurse pushing him, he might have still made contact, but not nearly as direct or hard.

They will be a PROBLEM. If 1-8 seeding was a thing, then I’d say cup challengers.

@alexismirjana I love Zuccy, great player. Just wish he shot more. Appreciate his passing ability but I’m pretty sure my life has been shortened by some of his cross ice, artistic, seeing eye pass attempts. LOL.
