It is written in the Constitution of Pakistan that the HIGHEST constitutional offices, specifically the President and the Prime Minister, MUST be held by a Muslim, thereby excluding Hindus and other non Muslim citizens from holding these positions.
The constitution of Pakistan specifically states in Article 41(2) that "A person shall not be qualified for election as president UNLESS he is a Muslim of not less than 45 years of age".
Article 91(3) stipulates that the National Assembly SHALL elect a "Muslim member to be the prime minister".
Notice that those who keep asking the BJP of not giving tickets to minority communities have NEVER ASKED the muslims of Pakistan, why this discrimination exists in Pakistan, ON THE BASIS OF RELIGION !!
