All we are called to do is submit to Jesus Christ as our Savior and obey His teachings as best we can. It’s not our place to judge others, but rather speak His Truth. To love as He loves, do for others as He does for us. But it’s also His command to avoid evil. I rather stay where I am firmly grounded in His love. While I might witness to people who aren’t committed to Christ, those who I associate with I prefer to be of a character that reflects Jesus Christ. Like I might witness to drunks but I wouldn’t just hang out in a bar. We are what we surround ourselves with. We are also what we consume. I know the Bible is mana for our spirits and my conversations with the Lord and listening to Christian music keeps me centered in His love. Having said that, we are also commanded to call out evil when we see it. These are the final days before His glorious return. He told of how people’s hearts would grow cold, blindly turning away from God. Wars and rumors of wars. Christians being persecuted. But for me, I will not stop fighting to spread His love and bring people back to focusing on Jesus Christ. I am fully prepared to offer my life. Because that is how much I love Him. There is nothing else I’d rather be doing than serve Him however I can every day. Doing His work as He would have me.
