The BHS Combined Guitar Ensemble working on “Climbing Frame” from Annette Kruisbrink’s “Playground Suite”. We’ll be playing five movements from this piece at our recital in February. #bhsguitarensemble #bhsguitar

Here’s a snippet of the BHS Honors Trio (William, Naairah, Victoria) working on the opening of the Allegro movement from Mozart’s Divertimento No 1 K539 (arr. Jürg Kindle). Not easy! There’s a lot more work to be done, but this movement will be ready for our February recital!

This is the BHS Honors Guitar Quartet (Nick is missing here, so Mr. Downes is playing his part) The quartet is one of several guitar ensembles we have at BHS. Here we are playing “Tears” from Alan Shoesmith’s “10 piéces bréve”.

Come on out for an evening of chamber music with BHS Guitar & Piano. We are set up for an intimate performance with onstage seating for our audience. We start at 6:30pm sharp! Admission is FREE!

Naairah has been working on her blues playing and is absolutely killing it! She’s playing in the Piedmont style of Blind Boy Fuller, Mississippi John Hurt, and Elizabeth Cotton.
