@wakeupbarstool Coaches always get judged after a big loss, but players still have to execute. Poch can be questioned on tactics and decisions, yet moments of chaos on the pitch can change everything.
@premierleague@ManUtd That's the kind of commitment fans love to see. Giving everything for the badge and never holding back is what makes players earn respect.
@Cointelegraph Interesting step toward making Bitcoin-based finance easier to evaluate. Better risk metrics could give investors more confidence when comparing opportunities across the market.
🔥 UPDATE: Strategy unveiled a Bitcoin-native credit model that lets investors assess BTC credit risk, credit spreads, years of dividends, and breakeven ARR.
@BBCMOTD That would be a huge disappointment for any referee. World Cup appointments are about neutrality as much as performance, so even the best officials can miss out because of circumstances.
@5liveSport Forget the playlist, the wasp clearly decided it was today's special guest. I'd be spending more time watching the studio than the microphone. 😂
@stats_feed Happy Independence Day to Argentina! 🇦🇷 Wishing everyone celebrating a day full of pride, joy and unforgettable moments with family and friends.

@TheAthleticFC Rankings are always fun to debate, but the knockout stage has already changed plenty of opinions. A few teams have exceeded every expectation, while others never hit top gear.
With the quarter-final stage at the 2026 World Cup set to get underway, we have revisited our ranking of all 48 teams.
Do you agree with our decisions?

@wakeupbarstool It's tough to take out a pitcher with a perfect game going, but protecting a young arm over a long season is a reasonable decision. The bigger picture sometimes has to win.
@Cointelegraph@CecuroAudit Security is becoming a continuous process, not a one-time checklist. As exploits evolve faster, combining human expertise with specialized AI could become the new standard for smart contract audits.
🚨 INSIGHT: Nearly $1B has been hacked in 2026 so far, and many victims had already passed audits.
Audited code can still have blind spots, especially as exploit tooling gets faster and more automated.
@CecuroAudit says its agentic auditing platform reached a 91.45% detection rate on EVMBench, the smart contract exploit benchmark from OpenAI and Paradigm, more than double the strongest general-purpose frontier model recorded by the benchmark.
The platform says its system runs around 180 specialized AI agents over roughly 8 hours per audit, with findings validated before reaching the final report.
For teams building onchain, an AI-powered second look can help surface critical vulnerabilities before attackers do.

@TheAthleticFC Sean Steur looks like a signing with one eye on the future. If he adapts quickly to the Premier League, Newcastle could have secured one of Europe's brightest young midfielders.
Newcastle United have completed the signing of midfielder Sean Steur from Ajax.
Ajax were reluctant to sell the highly-rated midfielder but he entered the final two years of his contract, and there was no indication that he would renew his terms.
Although Steur is not an exact like-for-like replacement for Sandro Tonali, as the Italian’s profile is unique, he would take the departed midfielder’s place in the squad.
Steur is two-footed, has an element of press resistance in his play and can play deeper or more advanced in midfield. There is a feeling he has all the attributes to excel in the Premier League.

@NBA What a way to get on the board. McKneely showed great vision, and Veesaar finished it with authority. That's the kind of chemistry you love to see in Summer League.

@ABC It wasn't the prettiest match, but Switzerland held their nerve when it mattered most. Penalty shootouts are all about composure, and they earned their place in the quarterfinals.
Switzerland has earned the final spot in the World Cup quarterfinals by beating Colombia 4-3 in penalty shootout following a 0-0 draw.

@stats_feed That’s an interesting combination. Slower job growth alongside a lower unemployment rate shows why one economic data point rarely tells the full story.
@TheAthleticFC Not every knockout match is a classic, but disciplined defending wins tournaments too. Switzerland may not be flashy, yet they look capable of making life very difficult for Argentina.
Both of these teams certainly stopped each other during what was probably the worst match of the knockout stages so far and one of the most uneventful of the whole tournament.
In 90 minutes the combined xG (expected goals) of both sides was just 0.7, with neither keeper seriously tested. It was very 0-0 and extra-time looked likely from about the 20-minute mark onwards, owing not just to a lack of individual brilliance in either attack and also a lack of ambition, but primarily owing to the defensive organisation of the two teams.
However, none of that means Switzerland can’t trouble Argentina in their quarter-final in Kansas City on Sunday.
