Aang’s fight with Ozai was peak spiritual pacifist energy. But Korra is built different. She’s raw, aggressive and doesn’t hesitate to throw hands or elements when pushed. If she had cornered Ozai during his prime, We would’ve seen a straight-up brutal, no-holds-barred beatdown. Fire vs. all four elements with that pro-bending aggression and zero chill. Ozai might’ve actually felt fear for once.

@Ataijesa She’s not just a villain, she’s a straight-up menace. Super genius brain mixed with crazy daddy pressure that eventually broke her, but that whole arc was written so perfectly. ATLA made her terrifying and tragic at the same time. Most other villains wish they had that energy ⚡️

Azula was 14 yo. She ran a convert operation and strategize with Ozai at-times. Captured Ba Sing Se including the Dai Lee Agents. Almost k!lled the Avatar. And you still wonder why she’s Ozai’s favourite?

How did these three even become Ozai’s trio? I understand they went to the same Fire Nation school, but how did they click? Azula is arrogant and cunning, Mai is stoic and deadly, and Ty Lee is the acrobatic and bubbly one. Was there a scene in the show where this was ever discussed?
