#EdTech friends, remember to be humble when teachers ask you a "dumb" question or click on a phishing email and need your help. Today, I made a similar mistake, and it feels awful. I know better. I know better. And I still did it. 🤦♂️ Side note: Nothing to worry about. Just dumb.

The @BiblioDames are back for a collaboration that is dear to our hearts. #ProjectBookDrop is an effort to buy books for some FWISD school libraries. We are working with the wonderful @thedockbookshop to make these libraries holiday wishes come true sites.google.com/view/projectbo…

Fun teacher tip. Digital letter boards, great for quotes of the day or just fun to add to intro slides. letterfolk.com/pages/virtual-…

@KylaAnderson409 Don't overwhelm the Ts with information. Don't shy from sharing things that will make their lives easier. Try to help/share with a diff teacher everyday. Small kindnesses for people. Promote literacy in whatever way you can, in any format you can, help w/ social media if possible

So overwhelmed as a new librarian- new campus, new to the profession and with virtual learning I feel like I have absolutely no idea how to do my job! I will take any help or suggestions #librarytwitter

Librarians are teachers too. Especially during a pandemic and remote/in person/hybrid learning

This looks amazing. Can't wait to pursue when the virtual doors open to the public.

Hard at work putting the finishing touches on my presentation for #ntxlibcamp20 on Wed at 10am. What do lemons, Hamilton, and successful managing social media have in common. I ❤️ them all. If you aren’t registered go to bit.ly/ntxlibcamp for info @ntxlibcamp

#bookadayinmay book review is @acevedowrites new book Clap When You Land. I just finished this last night and it was so good. I loved the style, the glimpse into Dominican culture, and the entire concept. I can not wait to recommend this book to students, just so good ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

@kittyBBQ All of the Feminist Baby books and the Little Feminist books. Those are my go to buys when someone has a baby.

@ShawnaFord1 I always loved that line when I read that book. ❤️❤️❤️

White women-identifying librarians. We are lucky to learn from @DrIbram and @JasonReynolds83 today. But don’t pat yourself on the back for listening and move on with your life. We have work to do and it must not be the job of folks of color to lead us. #sljdod

Our #bookadayinmay book review is A Good Girls Guide to Murder by @hojay92 I got this book from @librofm and the audiobook is fantastic. I ❤️ the concept for the book and I kept trying to solve it right along with Pippa, the main character. A great read, perfect for summer break.

Took the weekend off so we’re catching up . Our #bookadayinmay book review is The Green River Killer by Jeff Jensen Lots to love about this book. Graphic novel? CHECK. Serial killer stuff? CHECK. A really interesting perspective? ✅✅✅ (Longer review on our Instagram page)

1/2 Our #bookadayinmay review is Every Exquisite Thing by Matthew Quick. This book is all about how a book can change someone's life (meta, anyone?) Basically, Nanette has lived her entire life just living by the rules and then she discovers a book called The Bubblegum Reaper

1/2 #bookadayinmay review This Darkness Mine by @MindyMcGinnis I get excited every time I talk about this book to anyone because it is SO GOOD. The story follows a young woman who has everything figured out until, suddenly, she doesn't. And then it is a wild roller coaster ride.
