Daryl, there is no flip flop on this matter. My point has always been that this tax was specifically imposed so that JA could purchase insurance (the “oil hedge”) against spikes in the world price of oil. So, if you were not going to use the tax to provide that protection, then remove the tax. Is this outside your comprehension? If the protection had been purchased, we would be in a much better position now. Your Gov has left JA fundamentally exposed. AGAIN!
