The #OppoFindX9 (base) is not the best phone but it's a damn good one. I have no regrets trading my #SamsungS23 for it. First time using another brand in a decade. #Oppo may not be perfect but they made me want to change. Can't wait for my #FindX9Ultra to be back.

Update 2: Plot twist! @oppo @OPPOFrance support team came through & approved a full replacement. I'm keeping the camera kit ONLY. The faulty #OppoFindX9Ultra is already shipped back via UPS. 📦 Now the ~16-day wait begins. Huge thanks to the support team! 🙏 #OppoFindX9 #OPPO

Update: @oppo France tech support (they really are trying their best) just told me there is no stock for a replacement of #OppoFindX9Ultra. No phone & no camera kit available. So it's either a gamble on "just a software issue" or getting stuck with a faulty unit. What a mess!

@Bickoune @oppo Or perhaps they're currently out of stock, but when it's back in stock they'll offer an exchange, and in the meantime you keep the defective model. You just bought it and contacted them quickly, so it should be perfectly manageable. 🙂

Update:(.207) 1/Others who bought the #OppoFindX9Ultra on @oppo France have the same "Grey bug". 2/OK with teleconverter. 3/Problem in Night Mode : on 3s expo, ISO stays locked with ZERO processing on Ultra, while my base X9 is doing the job. Worked perfectly last Monday. #FindX9

@yo_mismo1 @oppo Yep...yours is Chinese or Global? The night mode worked perfectly fine Monday /Tuesday. So I don't know if my unit is cumulating the need for more updates AND/OR a real hardware problem.

@Bickoune @oppo @OPPOFrance The best thing to do is ask them directly about returns and specify that you bought the pack with the teleconverter, it's up to them to tell you what to do in this kind of situation 🙂 #Oppofrance come on 🤞🏼

@FoxDieXoF @oppo @OPPOFrance I can return it because of French consumer law by saying that it is faulty but they didn't answer if I have to also send back the teleconverter (my bundle). But now I don't know if I should send everything back & get reimbursed coz global is defective.
