Some notes: • The biggest drop anywhere in the chart is from #1 Texas to #2 Kentucky. Texas does not get a break anywhere, their weakest opponent is tougher than Texas Tech’s average opponent. • There’s really no gap between the SEC/Big Ten and ACC/Big 12, or the P4 and G6. Stronger conferences have stronger averages, but there aren’t sharp cutoffs. • Half the Pac-12 is above several P4 teams. Houston would have a bottom 3 Pac-12 schedule.

@oleBennyAdams The PAC-12 is in now way, shape, form or fashion a P5 conference. You cannot take 6 mid major programs and add them to 2 what was a power conference rejects and sprinkle in a non-football basketball program and reclaim to be a power conference, it doesn’t work that way.

The PAC-12 is Power 5. The rest of the country can try to deny it as long as they want, but the PAC is back.

Every Big 12 team has been ranked in the top 10 except for one. Only 10 of the 17 ACC teams have been in the top 10, and only 15 of the 18 Big Ten teams. Everyone who says the Big 12 isn’t a premier conference is an idiot.

@secnumbersguy SEC had a losing record against other P4s last year. NIL era hasn’t been good to the SEC.

I stand by this post more than EVER. The SEC depth is so far ahead of every other conference it has created a MASSIVE DISADVANTAGE. We MUST fix this for the good of college football.
