3 losses this morning but only amounting to -0.6% on paper. This is why I stress how important it is to know when to “stop.” Once I meet my weekly profit objective on my personal account, I switch to a paper account for the remainder of the week. Even though I had a red day today, I still improved as a trader by gaining experience. My week is still green on my personal account and there’s no stress or impulse to keep trading or make “more.” No desire to “push my edge.” Half the requirement of being a profitable trader is the skillset itself, the other half is knowing when to be “content.” Back better tomorrow!

You're not a bad trader just because you don't always know where the market is going. Your job is to take the setups you're most confident in and tape-read the rest.
