The consensus shifted to a rigid belief that these tokens were only valuable if the underlying agents had a live revenue stream and used that revenue to buy back their own tokens-a tokenomics function that has continuously proven to be ineffective and unsustainable (shoutout @0xDeployer) Because of this flawed expectation, the bullish sentiment has largely evaporated. The trenches have dried up, the short-term traders have moved on, and the consensus is quick to label this segment of the market as "the end of a meta."
