@penandpaper1989 A former stronghold of the RAF!! My "own" 100 Squadron were there (RAF Seletar) from the mid 1930s until the fall of Singapore and my Grandad was stationed at RAF Tengah as a Nav on the Vickers Valetta in the 50s. My Mother was born there during my Grandfather's tour 👍😊

Exactly 50 years ago today I sat wide-eyed in the school hall watching the very first commercial flight of Concorde take off from Heathrow for Bahrain on the TV on a trolley. Today I have been to @BristolAero to see G-BOAF, and to reflect on half a century of aviation memories

I've just had a few enjoyable days with my baby sister, who came south to help me celebrate my birthday. Although a lifelong admirer of Concorde, she'd never seen one in real life. I was delighted to be able to remedy that on Tuesday @BristolAero

@G4WAW @theRSGB I was talking about this to @westcountrybird earlier. It is a great shame we've lost a venue of many years standing. It'll be the same old faces I'm sure, but we'll be back at a new venue in 2026 I'm sure. Even if it's just a couple of the regulars and a van we all know and love

It is with great sadness that I had to make the difficult decision to have my pet cat Max put to sleep this afternoon. He was suffering over the weekend and the blood tests results determined that he wasn’t going to recover so young at 6hrs old RIP Max
