As an outsider to Toronto, I think multiple things can be true here. Mitch Marner has been incredible this postseason and what he’s doing right now is exactly the kind of impact a lot of people always believed he was capable of with the Leafs. The criticism was never really about his talent, everyone knew how elite he was. It was more about whether he could consistently deliver in the biggest moments.
