I would pump the brakes on expecting him to contribute heavily in his rookie season
We might get a few moments in the regular season, but it's generally unprecedented for a 19-year-old, 2nd-round pick to be in the rotation for a title contender

Can the Cavs afford Draymond, LeBron and Harden?
Simple answer: Yes.
But how much LeBron and Draymond want impacts the way the Cavs can.
If Draymond requires a S&T or LeBron/Draymond require the NTMLE ($15M), the Cavs must fit their roster under $209M.
If Draymond and/or LeBron would both take the veteran minimum or one takes the TMLE ($6.4M) Cavs must fit their roster under 221.6M.

Koby is flying dangerously close to the sun right now as far as wing and third big options go, and they continue to narrow. The fear of more small-ball 4 lineups is increasing.
Kuminga now almost becomes a piece that makes sense in any scenario.

If the Cavs needed to make a balancing move post-LeBron, something like this could make a lot of sense (and even without LeBron too).
The Pelican deals have been beat to death but wonder if Rockets would be open to moving Jabari + Capela for JA, or making a run at Lauri with JA.

Cavs are in a position where they may be able to get Kuminga or Rui at a discount.

In a scenario where Jarrett Allen is moved and LeBron returns, it makes more sense to move Allen to help shape the roster post-LeBron then being moved to acquire LeBron.
