The only people praising the Jacobins today are communists, not Liberals. Which is telling. In any historical revolution, you people always identify with the monsters. And in today's uprisings from Iran or Syria, you identify with the oppressor, from Assad to the IRGC.

Telling someone you don’t believe that the label they use to describe themselves is appropriate is not a form of oppression.
